cc-pr-tracker
Merge state, review and checks of your PRs on one line above the prompt, with alerts.

cc-pr-tracker keeps an eye on GitHub pull requests while you work in Claude Code. Paste a PR URL as your prompt and it becomes one line above the prompt: merge state, review decision and required checks, refreshed every minute. When a check flips or the merge state moves, you get a toast, a one-second flash and, on macOS, a sound.
What it does
- Watches any PR whose URL you paste, several at once. Pasting the same URL again stops watching it.
- Watches PRs Claude creates. Any open PR URL in Claude’s answer, or printed by
gh pr createin the Bash tool, is added on its own. - Hover a line to open the PR in the browser, list every check in a side panel, or stop watching.
- Colors follow GitHub’s own merge state. Green is mergeable now, yellow needs a branch update or has an optional failure, red is blocked by a check, a review or a conflict.
- Mute one PR from its hover buttons, or every PR with the Mute all PR alerts switch in
/config. A muted line keeps updating and ends in· muted; it just never toasts, flashes or sounds. Added in version 0.2.0.

Install
Needs Claude Code 2.1.287 or later, plus the GitHub CLI (gh) logged in with access to the repositories you watch.
claude plugin marketplace add sezaakgun/cc-pr-tracker
claude plugin install cc-pr-tracker@cc-pr-tracker
Start claude, paste a PR URL as the whole prompt and press Enter. No model turn runs, and the line fills in within a few seconds.
How it works
Every 60 seconds it runs one read-only GraphQL query per watched PR through gh api graphql and compares the result with the previous poll. A failed poll keeps the previous values and marks the line refresh failed, so a network blip never reads as a change. Watched PRs live in memory: a session restart forgets them.
It reads your prompts and Claude’s answers to find PR URLs, and the output of gh pr create in Bash. The only thing stored is the mute-all switch, a plugin setting that survives sessions; a per-PR mute lives in memory with its PR. Nothing is sent anywhere except to GitHub through gh. Inside cmux it also runs the cmux CLI to flash the session’s pane and post a notification that marks the workspace unread.
Limitations
- Only
github.comURLs. GitHub Enterprise hosts are not recognized. - Sounds play only on macOS. On Linux the alert is the toast and the flash, and
opengives way toxdg-open. - Draws only in interactive terminal sessions, not in
claude -p. - Hover buttons need a terminal that reports the mouse, and Cmd+click needs one that renders hyperlinks.
